These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Betadoc platform by doctors, clinics, and users. By accessing or using Betadoc, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Betadoc is a digital healthcare infrastructure platform designed to enable structured online consultation, booking, documentation, and secure payment processing for licensed medical professionals in Nigeria.
Betadoc does not provide medical services. Medical services are provided independently by licensed doctors using the platform.
Doctors using Betadoc must:
✔ Be duly licensed to practice medicine
✔ Provide accurate professional information
✔ Comply with applicable medical regulations in Nigeria
✔ Maintain professional and ethical standards
Patients must:
✔ Provide accurate information
✔ Use the platform responsibly
Understand that online consultation does not replace physical examination when required
Betadoc provides:
✔ Digital booking infrastructure
✔ Structured consultation workflow tools
✔ Documentation support
✔ Secure payment processing integration
✔ Administrative dashboard systems
Betadoc does not:
✔ Diagnose medical conditions
✔ Prescribe medication
✔ Interfere in clinical decision-making
All medical decisions are the responsibility of the consulting doctor.
All consultation payments are processed securely through Paystack.
The platform operates under a commission structure:
✔ 20% commission on Quick Bookings
✔ 10% commission on Standard and Specialist Bookings
✔ Gold package subscribers may receive adjusted commission terms
Upon confirmed payment:
✔ Betadoc commission is deducted
✔ Paystack transaction charges are deducted
✔ The remaining balance is transferred to the doctor
Commission rates may be updated with prior notice.
Doctors are solely responsible for:
✔ Clinical decisions
✔ Prescriptions
✔ Referrals
✔ Medical advice provided
Betadoc is not liable for:
✔ Clinical outcomes
✔ Medical negligence
✔ Misdiagnosis
✔ Patient misuse of prescriptions
Doctors agree to practice within their competence and applicable regulations.
Users may not:
✔ Misrepresent identity
✔ Upload false credentials
✔ Use the platform for illegal activities
✔ Circumvent payment systems
✔ Share login credentials
Betadoc reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
Betadoc provides infrastructure only.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Betadoc shall not be liable for:
✔ Indirect damages
✔ Loss of income
✔ Clinical disputes
✔ Network interruptions
✔ Third-party service disruptions
Betadoc may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Payments are processed via Paystack.
Betadoc does not store full card details.
Payment processing is subject to Paystack’s security standards and policies.
We implement reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect user data.

✔ Controlled access to dashboards
✔ Restricted administrative permissions
✔ Encrypted communication via WhatsApp
However, no system is completely immune from risk.
We may share data only:
✔ With payment processors (e.g., Paystack)

We do not share user data for marketing by third parties.
We retain records as required for:
